Silk Kimono
This piece is hand died and printed to bring to mind water and natural elements. The fabric was first dyed warm peach then hand stitched, tied and dip dyed to achieve the blue “water” pattern. The back design was screen printed from artists own design. The trim and belt fabric was marbleized to bring all the color elements together as well as reiterate the water theme.
